Trainer
What does the Trainer profile have to offer, and who exactly do we consider a Trainer? Here, you'll learn everything about customizing your Trainer profile.

What is a Trainer?
Anyone who has registered with us and completed the onboarding process is officially a Trainer on the masterball platform!
As a Trainer, you’ll have access to all basic features and your own Trainer profile, which you can customize yourself.
Become a Trainer
To become a Trainer, sign up at masterball. All you need to register is an email address and a username. The rest takes care of itself.
Registration is, of course, free, as are all basic features.
Note: At this point in time, there is a waiting list for first-time registrations.
What can I do as a Trainer?
First of all, you’re now part of a growing community centered around the Pokémon TCG!
Your new status as a Trainer opens up many new possibilities, including:
- Collecting your cards
- Viewing your collection progress
- Filling out your Pokédex
- Creating your own decks (in development)
- Rating and saving community decks (in development)
- Creating your own lists (in development)
- Rating and saving community lists (coming soon)
- Adding and inviting friends
- Unlocking achievements and milestones
- Viewing your own and the community’s activities
- Customizing your Trainer profile
- Participating in the Trainers League (coming soon)
- And everything else we’ll be offering in the future!
Who can see my Trainer profile?
Who can see your Trainer profile depends on your personal visibility settings. We offer three options:
- Any Trainer can see your profile and your information (except your last name).
- Only you and your friends can see the information on your profile.
- Only you can see the information on your profile.
In all cases, your profile can be found by other Trainers (e.g., to send you a friend request), but the information and details on your profile will not be displayed depending on your settings and friend status. Your last name is never visible to others.
Do I have to be a Trainer to use masterball?
Not necessarily; we plan to make masterball partially accessible to the public in the future. Currently, we’re still using a waiting list, which means you can’t access masterball without registering. Our goal is to let you view the cards and sets even without a Trainer profile. However, you’ll need a free Trainer profile to collect cards and use all other features.
Another feature you can use without registering is our Discord server—feel free to check it out!
