The “masterball platform” (hereinafter also referred to as “platform”) is a platform that is fundamentally free for all users to use, and we put a lot of time and passion into it. We bear any costs incurred, whether for hosting, software used, licenses, or other items, and will always continue to do so. We want the platform to remain free for you.

If you frequently use popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Threads, or X, we would love to welcome you as a follower and appreciate any sharing of our content or simply engaging with us to increase our organic reach.
In addition to the free methods, there is also the option of supporting us financially. This helps us to keep the platform alive and to provide additional features and better services, such as faster server connections or fewer limitations from hosting providers. All income generated from donations will, of course, be used solely for the expansion and maintenance of the platform. The term “donation” here refers to a free and voluntary payment, unlike donations to a non-profit organization. We use PayPal and Ko-fi as our payment services.
Important for all donors: As a donor, you will be specially recognized on our platform, so be sure to provide us with your email address or username so that we can reward you accordingly. Also good to know: If we launch a premium membership in the future, we will credit you with a portion of the donations for the premium membership.

At this time, we cannot reveal much about the exact content of the premium membership, but we want to make it clear from the outset that it is part of our platform strategy to offer an expanded set of features as a subscription model in the long term. What we can say for sure is that if a feature involves significant additional costs, it will only be made available as part of a premium membership. Basic features will always remain free of charge.

In the future, we would like to further develop the “masterball” brand. We believe in its success, stand behind the vision, and already see a lot of potential for further development of the product and the brand; this could also include offering merchandise. However, we are not yet able to share any concrete ideas at this time.

Why do we need donations?
We see donations as a voluntary gesture from particularly active and invested users; never as a prerequisite for the mere existence of the platform. You can be sure: we will support the platform with all means at our own expense. This involves more than meets the eye, including the domain(s), hosting of the platform, and the database(s).
There are currently no costs for software, APIs, or licenses. With an increase in users and donations, we can start thinking about guaranteeing an even more stable infrastructure and upgrading our service plans.
In addition, the invisible factor of our conception, design, development, and maintenance time is also significant. masterball is (still) purely a hobby project and is created in our spare time. Especially when it comes to scaling and further developing functions that are particularly time-consuming, donations help us immensely to recognize the value of our platform and our work and to be able to invest more with a clear conscience.
